Good if you need a cheap fresh fragrance to not offend anyone. Very easy to wear and most people enjoy the scent. Actually got a few compliments off of it.

TL:DR - Harsh opening but otherwise very good scent, terrible longevity.

I blind bought this because of it's similar profiles to other fragrances I like but cheaper price tag. My immediate thought on first spray was that I mostly smelled alcohol, but thankfully that disappeared quite quickly. What remained was a refreshingly pleasant aroma - like a somewhat more mature Polo Blue or Nautica. It's a smell that can be a summer scent both day and night, unlike some brighter "blue" colognes.

However, the major problem with this bottle didn't show up until a few hours after I put it on - or rather didn't show up. An hour after application this was a skin scent. By two hours, it was barely noticeable. By hour three it was gone completely. I am aware everyone has different body chemistry, and for me fragrances tend to wear off a bit on the quick side, but this is a contender for fastest vanishing act.

So if I want to smell really good for a short while, this is a great find. If I want something that I can apply before leaving for the day, then I'll need to look elsewhere. This may become my summertime "keep-in-the-car" bottle.

This cologne works surprisingly well on my skin. I bought this in a blind buy. I never expected him to do his job in beast mode like this!

A clean salt water scent. The scent is pretty simple. Simple is sometimes very good. I love the musk in this scent. It's one of the cleanest scents I've ever smelled. When I wear this cologne, I feel clean and fresh as if I just got out of the shower. I often turn to this cologne for daily use in the summer. It's very easy to wear. In the high inflationary conditions in Turkey, this cologne is one of the colognes that can be ideal for daily use in the summer months with its cheap price.

I read in the comments on Fragrantica that it is similar to Polo Blue. I've never smelled Polo Blue before. I want to try this soon.

@Clixwell, doesn't matter with the warm up, just spray 1 - 2 times on your shirt, instead of letting climate and your body chemistry be an issue to it's potential!!! Don't ever spray on skin, it's not good for you, it's just a way of smart business, to over-sell a product, because it last shorter = you buy more!!! Simple strategy

I had this around 2013, I had gotten it as a gift and I absolutely loved it. This was around the same year we had gotten a new house about 5km from the beach if not less. We also moved in during a hot summer so I wore this a lot and as one would figure, it created fantastic memories for that time.
So I went and did what any fragrance lover worth their salt would do, I repurchased it. I didn't think much of changes in formulation or performance, I figured just the scent would be enough.

I've been left a tiny bit disappointed though, I don't remember it being this flat. I wasn't expecting much but I'm left feeling a bit silly, with my dick in my hand. I'll keep trying it when it warms up where I am but ya, feeling a bit hollow about the repurchase, not cos of the money spent but because it's not exactly the scent I remember.

Heads up: I do NOT have a bottle of this, but a little dabber bottle, so I can't give any good advice on sprays or whatever.

The scent opens with the best opening I've ever smelled in a fragrance. Granted, I haven't smelled that many colognes but my lord it opens beautifully. If anyone knows a fragrance like this that lasts longer, let me know. Unfortunately, the opening only lasts like 5 minutes before becoming a bit of something else which I'm honestly okay with

I would put this in OK because of the performance, but the scent itself is just too good.

One of my first fragrance when I was just starting out. Everyone starts somewhere and most do with a cheap designer from their local stores. Honestly I still enjoy this although I never really wear it much anymore with my collection growing in size and quality. It smells almost nostalgic to me, like it has its own aquatic vibe that doesn’t automatic scream “beach” or anything. It just kinda smells blue to me if that makes sense. Very refreshing too, I’d love this as a thing to scent my room with more than I’d like to wear as it dries down quite poorly for me.

Although it’s an Eau de Toilette, and thus not the longest-lasting, its brilliant and vibrant presence is like a shooting star—brief but unforgettable. At $69.99 for a 200ml bottle, it’s an absolute steal.

To be honest with all the freshblue fragrances on the market I cant find a reason for you to purchase this. It is out preformed and out shined by almost every other aquatic scent on the market right now. I do think the atomizer is decent for the price and the presentation is good but this was one of the worst blind buys I’ve made (not like thats saying much). It doesn’t smell bad just a lack luster and boring cucumber scent with synthetic citrusy tones. Just buy dolce & gobanna light blue or versace pour homme/fraiche for a little more. It is a little different with its saltier accords but thats about it when it comes to uniqueness.

The scent to me is a balanced salty, less harsh Light blue intense. I love salt so much, yes salt is a smell did you know that.

Cucumber heavy. HEAVY. Then, I get the watery green notes, the lotus, citrus, patchouli and plum.

It's a nice fragrance, got it at TJ Maxx for $20. I wouldn't buy again. The original is soooo much better.

I quite like this fragrance. I have had Polo Blue Parfum sometime ago and heard that Eternity Aqua was similar in scent from reviews i had read so thought i would give this a try.

It's a very fresh and aquatic fragrance that is a good daily scent for anytime. I think you can get away with this at a casual event too so work its perfect for and semi smart events too so a nice restaurant. I find it more of a spring summery scent or early autumn, although i think it can be suitable for anyone wanting to smell very fresh, clean and aquatic.

It's also a good fragrance choice for someone looking for Polo Blue at a cheaper price. This can be bought cheaply in drug stores or online at a reasonable price of around £25.00-£30.00 in the UK. Maybe cheaper on eBay.

I would buy this again but i do like to cycle through dailies and try others to see how they sit on me, as fragrances always differ on the persons natural aroma.

Silage is okay i think it lasts for about 2-3 hours depending on applications but max id say is 6 hours. I can smell it after a long day when i go to the gym and i get warm but its not overpowering. Just a nice clean scent.

I personally love this. In spite of all the other fresh aquatic summer types of scents, something stands out to me. It’s just a nice aquatic scent. The cucumber and lotus are well blended and peak through the aquatics nicely.

Funny story, I’ll need to buy a new bottle and here’s why. I got a 6.7 fl oz bottle for roughly $35 from Fragrancenet.com. Had it for over a year, and enjoyed it. Left it in my car where the temperature fell below 32°F. I thought it would be fine as fragrances are meant to be kept cool, but NO. It smells like pure harsh chemicals now. Don’t make my mistake

got a 3.4 oz and another backup 6.7 bottle years ago and hardly ever use it i never reach for this stuff cause its just too much its a power house scent or at least it was .
it has some good vibes going on and smells like your out at the beach but i dont live at the beach and people are angry very angry so its best to wear something more dark and depressing

Just got a 100ml bottle for 25 bucks. My first thought: what a great value!

It is similar to polo blue family, just like them, smells fresh and crisp, is perfect for mornings right after shower.

I would say it is a safe blind buy, will not offend anyone and 100% office safe.

Personally, the most appealing part is that it is very fresh without depending solely upon citrus notes. Nowadays most male designer fragrances are either bubble gummy or citrus-y, this is neither of these, I get a little vintage 90s vibe.

Conclusion: if you are looking for a fresh everyday fragrance and like watery notes, this can be a great alternative.

Very light, crisp, penetrating scent. Not the same, but in the same category as Versace Man Eau Fraiche, with more oomph.

I get more watery cucumber and citrus in the foreground, with musk and wood notes in the background. Not getting the lavender or plum; nothing is remarkably floral or sweet about it.

I blind-bought it early on when I started collecting. I was not upset with it, but I have found many more options that would fill the role of a shower gel-Esque fragrance that I would choose over this one.

What I don't think anyone reviewing this now in 2022 realises is that they're smelling almost an entirely different fragrance from when this first came out.

And no I'm not doing the usual Fragrantica "they reformulated this" meme. I have actual proof.

I have two bottles, one I've held onto since 2012, the other from around 2019/2020 (hardly used, you'll soon find out why). The difference is dramatic.

My 2012 bottle is a lot more clearer, cleaner, smoother, and aquatic, and almost has a kind of ever-so-slight sweetness to it that makes you want to bathe in it. The old formulation "cuts" through high humidity and doesn't build up and waft around you. At the time, it was a really sexy smell (it's dated now), and I used to get a ton of compliments on it from women.

My 2019/2020 bottle is almost an entirely different fragrance and can be summed up by two words POWDERY SOAP. A nauseating old man powdery soap smell that is cloying in summer and high humidity. The old formulation "cuts" through humidity and heat, and this newer bottle hangs around you like a stomach-churning powdery musky soap cloud.

My older bottle still has those powdery, musky notes, but it's pulled back BEHIND the clearer, cleaner, aquatic notes. The newer bottle is just boisterous cloying powdery, musky soap... It's gross.

If someone did want to wear the modern version of this, I would actually recommend it as more of a spring scent. The new reformulation is now way too musky and cloying in high-heat and high-humidity situations. I'm an expat working in a highly humid/tropical area of the world, and there's no way I'd want to wear the newer version unless it was to make people gag around me.

@chesterthejester, lol hate to break it to you, but THAT is exactly why it gives different scents on people with bad chemistry, would you like it if the same drink or food tasted different everytime?! And no, it does NOT defeat what a scent does, as if you spray on for instance a t-shirt, which is typically thin material, it slowly seeps through, causing the effect wanted, without the issue of longevity, or horribly mixed body chemistry!!!

It is not the BODY temperature that unleashes the true potential, it's your surroundings, as you mention yourself ;) I mean, take a walk in the woods, walk into a flower store, what you smell has nothing to do with it being on a body...

Also, pulse points is a myth, it doesn't alter temperatures compared to the rest of the body... The myth about spraying on pulse points, was when men were gentlemen, giving women kisses on the cheeks, so the scent came from behind their jaws, or kissing their hands, as they've sprayed their wrists... It's nothing but myths though, when it comes to a scent developing more on those points, it's just one of those things that keeps living on, because people keep talking about it, kinda like when people are saying that fat is bad for you, or carbs are good!

TLDR: This scent is more suited for men above the age of 25, it is a outdated smelling scent.

Opening: It is creamy on opening with large amounts of synthetic floral and aquatic notes. Very fresh smelling, similar to a lavender Lysol spray. The separation of notes is poor, to my nose I can only pick out two or three of the listed notes.

Drydown: Upon drydown it warms up a bit with a soapy dryer sheet type of vibe. Longevity is poor while projection is strong for the first hour. Grassy notes come forward a bit during the drydown. Lasts about 4 hours total on my skin, the strong projection combined with the synthetic smell is a bit nauseating. It smells like something my grandmother might wear.

In conclusion there are better aquatic/fresh fragrances out there, for the price paid ($34) it is not worth the money. A better "fresh" fragrance at a cheaper price would be Midnight Voyage by Nautica or Versace Eau Fraiche for a bit more money, both smell more modern and higher quality.

This is a great clean masculant scent. It is a clean, soapy, fresh spicy, aquatic scent for the spring and summer. It is excellent for the price. I really like this as a casual wear, for the office, or a daily for the year. A scent that will make people be pleased to smell you.

Polo blue at a fraction of the cost. Moderate Everything in scent and performance. Not bad but just an ok dumb reach freshie. Nice sharp aquatic scent with some roundness with the cucumber, thank goodness not too much cucumber. If you need to run errands in the spring or summer this will do as a casual scent. I got a 3.4oz tester for $16 so it was worth it.

I really like this unassuming little fragrance.

For me it manages to be both inoffensive and interesting, and it's proved to be useful in lots of different situations; principally as a safe, clean work scent and as a relaxing before-bed lavender scent. I initially bought it for the cucumber note, which I love, but I'd say that all of the top and mid notes are detectable, and enjoyable.

People have already highlighted the key characteristics - airy, salty, clean, casual. It has a green side as well as a musky side, and also a slight beachy aspect, like sun-bleached driftwood. Really impressive for £20/100ml.

EDIT: The dry down is also really good. Musk is there, and there is a faint version of Guaiac wood, coming across as more of a bleached, sandy driftwood. Totally casual and laid back.

2nd Update: Having put this away for a couple of years, I've worn it this week in sunny, 28 degree heat. In that setting it's an absolute banger. Like being splashed with azure, salty water, then settles down to musk with hinds of plum. So good in the heat!!

CK Eternity Aqua is a SWEET-FLORAL-SOAPY-AQUATIC

Starts out moderately sweet and floral almost perfumish (like the og CK Eternity), then a salty marine accord is added in along with some light soapyness (soapy like the og CK Eternity, just not as bold); once it dries the sweetness and floralness turns down some (but is still noticeable), the light soapyness it still there but the saltiness becomes faint as clean and airy light musk comes in, the dry smells very similar to CK Eternity Air just airy and clean; It's a tad sweet and a bit floral but it's a good clean smelling mass appealing fragrance. People are saying it's similar to Polo Blue... I'd say Polo Blue is more masculine, less sweet, and more blue-aquatic. To me CK Eternity Aqua smells similar to Lacoste L.12.12 Bleu Powerful, both are sweet-floral aquatics, however, Eternity Aqua is more mature and marine-salty aquatic while L.12.12 Bleu Powerful is more youthful sweet blue/bleu-sport-aquatic.

Projection/Sillage: GOOD, not a 'beast mode' projection monster but is very aromatic w/ good 'scent bubble' for about 3-4 hours that radiates within 7 feet

Performance/Longevity: GOOD, will last on avg about 7-8 hours

I kind of see the similarities to Polo Blue but this fragrance isnt as boring. Its a nice aquatic, airy, salty fragrance. Cucumber is very noticeable and lovely, and the green notes and lavender mix very well. Smells very nice and clean for the hot months. I'd rotate this out with my other aquatics in the summer no doubt. Its not the most unique smell in the book but youd be hard pressed to find someone say they dont like it. Easy to go nose blind to though

The first time I smelled this fragrance it was too salty/stenchy, I don't really know the word for it, but it was quite unpleasant for me to smell, but as I try it more it kind of grows into me, I started to notice the freshness and I like it.

It's fresh and calming, good scent to wear during the daytime, in the office, school, or just casual activities during a quite hot daytime, nothing outstanding but it does its job.

Sillage is average in my opinion, not too striking on the nose but not too subtle as well, for the longevity it's kind of weak to moderate.

Good smelling....but doesn't last long enough. I paid $33 cad for a 50 ml.

And I get 15-20 mins (2 sprays) before it's a skin scent.

It opens up with a watery surge of cucumber, lotus, and green notes. As it dries down on my skin, the pepper starts to stand out with some faint woods in the background.

I'm not sure how I feel about the pepper in this fragrance. It kind of clashes with the smooth/watery vibe that the majority of this fragrance is centered around.

It's not too bad. I enjoy the opening a lot. It doesn't last too long though.

Not bad for hot, humid summers. This is what I wear when this get warm and muggy and I just want to smell fresh around the house or outdoors (think late-night 4th of July fireworks with the family). This is a classic crowd pleaser and gets compliments as much as more expensive scents do at other times of the year.

In the office, however, I find this to be rather forgettable (the strongest note is cucumber, after all). Anywhere you have dry, climate-controlled air you'll get nothing but top notes. Thus the scent doesn't come across as complex or interesting as others I have tried.

The best thing I like about Eternity Aqua is how fresh and natural it smells. You can use this for just about any situation if you wanted, I just think there are much better options for signature scents. For me this is a niche summer scent for chilling at home or with friends and family. For work, nights out, and cold weather I would have others to choose from.

Overall: recommended if you want to smell like you spent the day at a spa and want to blend in, not stand out.

It has a cooling effect. At least every time I had it on. I guess that’s what marine fragrances do. I wore it both on hot and cold days and it was lovely and I had awesome compliments too. Someone walked up to me saying,”I can guess what you are having on, INVICTUS”. This is was way back in 2014, so I guess the batches of the Invictus’ smelled similar at the time.

I like it.

Sprayed this on at the department store and literally walked 40 feet and was approached by a woman who politely asked, "What the hell are you wearing?!!" I was shocked and a bit embarrassed, because I thought that my sense of smell had failed me and that I had sprayed on a "stinker." However, she went on to tell me, "I want MY man to smell like THAT!!!" Long story short...a better version of Polo Blue that smoothly fades into an interesting-but-unavailable version of Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Giò. VERY NICE, especially for the $20 bucks that I paid for it. It stayed strong on my skin for about 4 1/2 hours. It's probably a monster on clothing. Spring and Summer only with this one, guys. It fits those seasons perfectly.

BEWARE: As I said before...I got only 40 FEET away from the tester and a pretty, young thing approached me without hesitation. I'm quite sure you get the picture.

I forgot I had this - I had a small bottle in my car arm rest for emergencies. I put it on in the dark and had to remind myself what this was.

Better than average budget Aquatic Ozonic - most reviews here are spot on.

A relief as the Plum and Cucumber punch strongly through for a fair bit making a change from the usual dominant citrus blends. Ozonic and a bit green - a bit salty. The pyramid here is somewhat fair.

Disagree with poor silage comments - if you think this doesn't project something is wrong - with decent 4 hours or so longevity.

I also own Eternity which is fairly safe - this is genuine flanker that has enough spin to justify keeping it next to the original as well for a hotter day! I also have no problem switching this between my Green Irish Tweed or say my Bulgari Aqua or Aqua Marine Tonique.

Again, fairly smooth for the price, if it is about budget or freshness for a change you won't regret this even as a blind buy.

Happy Smelling

Starts off smelling extremely similar to Polo Blue, with very prominent cucumber along with a bit of citrus. This fragrance leans very masculine. About 30 minutes in, it enters the drydown and becomes a spicy cucumber (the spice here being schezuan pepper), however the opening lasts much longer if sprayed on clothes. The drydown then ends up smelling like plums and schezuan pepper along with mild notes of citrus. The cucumber has totally disappeared at this point. It's a pleasant scent and very spicy. It smells like I have some good-smelling hot sauce on my body - as weird as that sounds, it smells pretty nice; this is due to the heavy shezuan pepper note which is perfectly blended with the plum note. Basenotes smell similar to the drydown. Sillage is moderate but leaning strong - I can still smell wafts of it hours after spraying - and longevity is also moderate at about 4-5 hours. Overall it's an interesting and pleasant fragrance, though I wish the cucumber note lasted longer and I think the shizuan pepper note is a bit strange in a fresh fragrance, while plum note though rare isn't the most appealing to me. Ultimately decided I didn't like it because the pepper is so realistic it feels like I have hot sauce on my skin - though some will enjoy that (kind of like the opposite of the cooling sensation of mint).

Superfresh cucumbery and watery fragrance. Much better and juicier than Polo Blue, in my opinion. Also better longevity. Spring/summer in a bottle! Or just to smell good at the office.

Typical summer/aquatic scent: fresh, pleasant, watery . In the first 30 minutes. Then comes the nothing, only the soapy-watery notes. And it has the same problem as most of the summer scent: terrible sillage, with poor longevity. If you overdose the fragrance (6-8 sprays in every 2-3 hours), it will be great, but if you use only 3-4 sprays the scent will dissapear in the summer heat 1 hours later… The top note is the best part of the scent. I can sniff some citruses and cucumber (mixed with calone). Because of the cucumber the top smells similar than Ralph Lauren Polo Blue. In the mid I can smell a little bit of pepper with lavender, and the weak base contains some patchouli and sandalwood. After the drydown you really feel, the hard soapy-watery notes, but unfortunately, I don’t want to smell like soapy water. The perfume is a little bit unique with the cucumber note, but nothing special, not worth the money

This is a great scent at a great price point !

Eternity aqua is a fresh out of the shower smell that's a green smelling aquatic that's very light,airy and refreshing but in the base it does has some depth with the sandalwood and musk. This is a great casual scent for the warmer temperature and is also office friendly as long as you don't go over 5 sprays as this can get cloying although it smells very light.

A lot of people complain about performance issues but on me this has great performance as the first hour and a half I get very good projection and then for the duration of the scent you get a nice scent bubble but the best thing about the performance is that this leaves a nice sillage trail. Longevity on me is 5-8 hours !

Scents that this is very similar to are Polo Blue,Cool Water and sometimes there's notes that come out that slightly remind me of Just me by Paris Hilton which is an ADG clone. Also this does smell kind of similar to the original eternity but only once you get to the drydown does it show similarities. But if you hated the original I would say to still give this a shot because there not all that similar

Overall rating---7.5 out of 10 ! I think this is a great scent for the summer and 1 that will get you a few compliments

Eternity Aqua is a "safe-bet" fragrance. I'd say you'd be hard pushed to find anyone that finds it offensive.

Fresh and mild, has a salty ocean vibe that makes it good for summer or stuffy environments (such as offices etc).

As pleasant as it is personally i find it has a lack of character, a lot of aquatics smell similar to this. clearly a decision was made in Aqua's conception and marketing to be as far-reaching and appealing as possible.

If found on offer it might be worth a punt, to use a musicians terminology it's a crowdpleaser, something everyone has come across before.

Too weak, not a scent that will grab my attention. Probably a very safe scent but this is not what I am needing.

To be honest, I never smelled it after putting it on. It immediately became a skin scent and I could smell it faintly on my skin but no projection or sillage at all.

Just finished this one... to me, it's A nice safe aquatic fragrance from the CK House.

Worth the buy to have for a day you just want to throw something on, but, not something that I think is a "must run out" for.

This perfume has a very strong ozonic note to it I personally don't love it but I like it very much as it projects good and its fresh, it projects decent around 3-5 hours at day but at night the sillage is weak compared to day time.

The most beautiful thing about this fragrance is that ladies do give compliments whenever I wear it, It makes me feel more confident on a date :D

I probably would have never tried Eternity Aqua but at an airport I saw a gentleman next to me going through security pull a mini bottle of it out while emptying his pockets. He smelled nice so I gave it a shot.

It is a bit similar to Polo Blue to me but not quite. It has a cooler feel to it than most aquatics. I think that's the cucumber note though it doesn't smell quite like cucumber to me. It's nice. I get better longevity with this than Polo Blue and some other aquatics, get 6-8 hours it.

The wife who only enjoys fresh scents has commented positively when I wear this.

After spending more time with this fragrance I really have come to appreciate this !

The opening is very reminiscent of Polo Blue as it has a very crisp,cucumber,somewhat sharp, opening with black pepper in the background.

Even though the opening is great it does smooth out in the mid and in the mid is where this does have some similarites with the original eternity. The reason this has similarites is that it does start to go from being Polo Blue into smelling like a outdoorsy/green scented laudry sheet type of smell. (Actually when I wore this I was getting confused to what the smell around me was because when I put my clothes in the dryer I did use green/outdoorsy dryer sheets and didnt know if it was the dryer sheet smell or the cologne) But sure enough 4 hours later I smelled my arm and yes it was the cologne !!!

My girlfriend did NOT like this when I 1st sprayed it and even she thought it was Polo Blue(She thinks Polo Blue smells like nasty old spice,lol) but 1 hour later she said I changed my mind and I really like that 1 !!!
And for her thats awesome because she hates most of my frags !

Performance on this is great but also deceiving ! This lasts anywhere from 6-10 hours and projects great. One thing to be cautious of is that this is a scent that you will become nose blind too and even when you think the scent is gone others around you will still smell this so PLEASE use this stuff with caution. 3-4 sprays MAX as anymore than that and it starts to become cloying.

Overall rating im staying solid at an 8 out of 10 ! Great scent thats great for everyday use and this stuff has great performance as well which is rare for a freshie

To me this smells like a BETTER version of Polo Blue. Polo Blue was a great scent but I always wish the cucumber note was more pronouced as it gave the scent a refreshing quality and I also wished it didnt have as much spice as it kind of made Polo Blue a little lackluster. (still a good scent though)

This scent though is a big step up though as the cucumber is a lot more crisp and pronounced giving this scent a very refreshing quality and then once this dries down it becomes a little more warm as the lavender and green notes kick in but throughout the life of the fragrance it still keeps that freshness from the cucumber unlike in Polo Blue where you get an amazing opening but then shortly in the heart it becomes really muddy and dull smelling.

Performance on this is great for a fresh scent ! This projects really well and lasts 6-8 hours !

Id have to rate this an 8 out of 10 upon the first wearing ! I may rate this higher when i wear it more and I can see this being a staple in my freshie/summer/spring rotation

This is my first CK fragrance and indeed it is a very well blended fragrance.

When people compared this to Polo Blue, I really wanted to buy this since I lost my Polo Blue under stupid circumstances. I don't know what is it with Ralph Lauren fragrances, they are obscenely overpriced even if discounted!

Yes, they are in the same vein, but compared to Polo Blue, Eternity Aqua is lighter, soapier, smoother and a tad thinner(not a bad thing). If you think about it, Polo Blue is quite strong especially with the metallic/ozonic qualities of its scent. Not so with Eternity Aqua. The ozone quality is dialed way down that not many people will find this cloying/in-your-face/offensive so this can be worn anytime be it in the office, engaging in casual activities, running errands or just hanging out.

Honestly speaking, Eternity Aqua is one of those fragrances that will smell familiar to you but you can't quite put a finger. On certain stages of its lifespan, this can give vibes of: Versace Pour Homme(after about 10 minutes, I currently have this), AXE PHOENIX(had this), L.12.12 Bleu or Vert(cannot remember), Kenneth Cole Reaction and CK One Summer 2013 (who knows what else!). In short, it is not that unique.

Make no mistake about it, this is a true aquatic but can easily be worn all year through since it can bring freshness when one so desires, which is really the point of using an aquatic anyway.

I acquired this blindly in the hopes that this would replace my Polo Blue but, alas, scentwise they are only in the same theme. The comparison is not the same as, say, Acqua di Gio with 360 Red, which can pass for each other.

On it's own it is a good cologne but I'm glad I only got the 100ml and not the 200ml. Now, the hunt is still on for a great deal on Polo Blue.

Will acquire again only on a good deal since longevity and projection are sorely lacking.

I don't get any cucumbers in the opening, or ever, as listed in the notes above. I get a kind of generic aquatic/greens blast for a good half an hour until it starts to dry down. Completely different from the original Eternity IMHO.

When it starts drying down I start smelling the lotus, lavender, roses (which isn't in the listed notes so it might just be my nose) and patchouli, would have never noticed the plum if I hadn't read the note breakdown but now that I see it I can smell hints of it. Then after about 4 hours, the floral notes give way to more patchouli, woodsy notes and musk at which time it smells almost identical to POLO BLUE. At this point I feel like it's a skin scent, but then when I walk by co-workers they are apparently left smelling the wake of it.

Even though its smells is reminiscent of like 100 different colognes and there's nothing really unique or special about it, the girls at my work seem to like how it smells on me. They like it waaay more than I do. And since it doesn't give me a headache I don't mind wearing it from time to time just to keep it fresh at work.

Longevity: 7/10
Sillage: 7/10
Originality: 3/10

A really nice fresh, clean aqua that I actually like better than Eternity itself. Very nice and clean reminiscent of a classic soapy note with no soapy feel at all.

Almost third on my buy list, but I'd have to compare it to my existing summer scents.

Something about the Eternity frags that always has a nasty 'green' chemical dry-down to it. As far as aquatic scents go, its not bad, and does moderately in terms of projection and longevity. Its unoffensive and wearable anywhere - its just not stand-out. Then again, its not expensive. In that respect, you get what you pay for, but like I said, the dry-down leaves little to be desired.

I don’t claim to know much about perfumes but I know what I like. I like winter- the harsher and more brutal the winter the happier I get. Think frozen lakes, snow storms, gnashing winds and grey clouds. The movie Tron Legacy and Snow Falling on Cedars – best epitomises the scent best associated to these bleak dramas.

Think of rain, ferocious waves and fog. That foreboding image have a scent to it- a sharp, clean icy scent. If I can add a twist to the scent- snow laced with blood and semen.

So on with the review. Calvin Klein Aqua ruined my winter visage.Finally I finally came to understand that not all aquatics perfume are suitable to evoke wintry visage. This is surely the case with CK-Aqua.

The top note is very brief, just three seconds of iciness before the sharp spicy woodiness takes over. The sharp spicy scent lasts a long time. I sprayed some my clothes and instead of reminding me of warmth associated with foggy New Hampshire mornings, I am thrown hurly burly into the Madrid summer night scene! It took seven hours before the spicy woodiness to abate to let the oceanic scent return (just meekly!).

This is quite an inverted scent. What took front stage is the base note. Once again the spiciness turns me off, gosh it hollers- look I am sophisticated!. The heart note once again made of spicy note – is very unforgiving. Finally, many, many,many hours later, the top notes meekly announces itself- apple, citrus and cucumber. 90% base note. 9% heart note and 1% top note.

By then I am so sick of being reminded of summer that I look forward to a long shower to wash off that scent. If you love summer parties of Ibiza or Tel Aviv- seen and be see crowd this is a great scent but not suitable for the serious winter person who prefer the bleak isolation of Iceland.

It's fresh ,soft but not too soft..it opens with fruity aquatic, sweet but in fresh way, after 30 minute you will understand why it's called aqua,so fresh and relaxing..longevity max 5 Hours in me

tried some samples. not amazing, not too bad. it's a spring/summer fragrance,i smell something synthetic in the scent. the sillage is so strong that a friend told me "oh please, are u wearing an american fragrance? i hate it"

non strabiliante ma neanche una schifezza. è un profumo da stagioni calde, personalmente ho percepito un qualcosa di sintetico nella fragranza, pungeva all'olfatto. ho usato dei campioncini, una volta mi incontrai con un amico che disse "oh per favore, hai messo un cavolo di profumo americano no?" la proiezione è molto forte per essere una eau de toilette estiva, non esagerare con gli spray.

I am always amused that a fragrance called "Eternity" does not last for eternity!

At first, it smells pretty much like a lot of other aquatics, but persevere with this as the drydown is a sweet steamy warmth with a floral element - not at all harsh.

Unusually for Calvin Klein fragrances it has got pretty good longevity. It lasts most of the day on my skin with moderate sileage, therefore giving decent value for money.

What I failed to mention about this fragrance is that it's perfect for daytime casual wear not meant for a sophisticated evening where your wanting to impress someone special. Ck has lighter and fresh notes not a heavier deep aroma like CK Euphoria. After reading the reviews that this frag smells like Polo Blue..I tried out myself and YA big time very similar.

Ck Eternity Aqua has a very aquatic scent mixed with both a light floral/woodsy notes. After it dries dowm I'm able to smell lavender and plum combined with cedar and patchouli which gives this frag a real aromatic aroma.
A lot would appreciate the appealing qualities that comes from this frag which is enjoyable during the spring and summer months without it being offensive to anyone. The frag takes on slightly powdery sweet scent which is from musk giving it a really appealing fragrance.
Longevity and Silage are both very good...
Overall though,
I know that a lot of people consider this collections for a much longer age group. I would agree that CK is trying to go after the age group that's from 20-30yrs old which wants a freshness and aromatic scent which this one has. Thou I'm not in that age group I'm still able to enjoy this fragrance just like a lot are able to.

This is a really well formulated aquatic fragrance surprisingly without sea or water accords. I could smell citruses right after I unboxed it, a bit harsh in my opinion. Not sure why but I don't smell cucumber at all, I can't say there isn't, but I guess gets mixed up with the plum. Try Abercrombie & Fitch Cologne 41 which opens up to a predominantly cucumber burst (it's almost like I rub a freshly cut cucumber on my skin and then smelling off it)
What I do sense is cool green notes that evolves after the opening fades away (ten minutes?), followed by hints of lavender and musk.

Reminds me of Bvlgari Aqva + Davidoff Cool Water + a spicy fragrance, all rolled into one.
I can't agree more, it smells just like RL Polo Blue, not the opening so much because Polo Blue opens with Melon (but dissipates quickly) and CK Eternity Aqua opens with citruses and plum.

It was a blind buy based on reviews here and I don't regret it.
It suits best for a lunch date, preferably at an open air restaurant facing a sea or a lush green lawn.

Longevity: 6, better on skin than on clothes.

Hey all!

I have been into fragrance since the age of 11; I am now 29 and my taste along with my nose has evolved over the years. We all remember wearing various cK frags along with those of Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss as teens. Now, I am in no way an expert, but merely an enthusiast. And if I have learned one thing over the years it is that - it doesn't matter who's name is on the bottle, but only what actually smells nice to each individual. A few years ago I thought that I had "outgrown" certain designers and their frags, but that is just closed minded and not fair. It's not fair to the designer nor to yourself and your nose, lol. I have come to appreciate straight forward fragrances like this one. Eternity Aqua. What could be more self explanitory than that? You know what you are getting yourself into right away, and I like that. CK did not hide this fragrnace behind a "color" name that is in many cases misleading (i.e. Polo Blue & Bleu de Chanel - neither of which are aquatics btw, sorry plap17), but let you know upfront. If you are not interested in an aquatic and find them boring or run-of-the-mill then don't test this. Why waste your time?

Anyway, now that I got that out of the way, I find this fragrance to be very nice. It's longevity is around 8-12 hours on me and projects quite nicely. If someone were to give you a hug 10 hours after application, she/he would definitely take notice and compliment :D

Now, as the name reads, this IS an aquatic & there are VERY many aquatics out there. However, this one is - IMO, very well done. It is clean, fresh and natural. Very nice and appropriate for anyone and anytime. Most would say that this is a summer scent, but what is wrong with smelling clean, fresh and natural all year round? I personally like to wear an aquatic occasionally in the winter to remind me of summer and the salty sea air. Ok, I've rambled on long enough. This is an excellent aquatic. That's what it is and that's what it should be properly & appropriately compared to.
